The Mafinga Upendo Family had some renovation of the front piece and repair of their sewage system plus fencing and all these took both money and time. The house for the orphans in Uwemba was going to be demolished because of the Njombe -Ludewa TanRoad expansion and construction in view of the Liganga Iron Mining Project undertaken by the Chinese. Children had to be relocated to a new site. Thanks to the Uwemba Village Government generosity we got a good plot.

The plot that we got. Almost three acres.

We had to dig a well and bring foundational stones from very far!
Can you see the well that supplies water here? Look on next pics for a clue!

We needed someone to lay raw bricks as this is going to be a low cost house!

Fr Eberhard Mwageni comes to see what I am really doing in Uwemba.

This couple, house and wife apply for the brick laying job!

It is a good arable land for potatoes and fruits: Self-reliance: Kujitegemea!
Lorry by lorry the rocks had to come in!
The site of the house is just the best for the kids. Thank you Lord and the Village.

Collection of stones and the laying of the foundation! That is a huge undertaking dears. I can do all thin through Christ who empowers me to!

The relocation of the Uwemba Upendo Family Orphans and the Renovation of the Mafinga Upendo Family Orphans were parallel projects that we had to undertake because of exigencies. They were not in our plans.
